How We Can Help

Individuals with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and other developmental delays are often challenged with a combination of limitations in the functional skills for daily living. In order for an individual to be optimally prepared to learn and take in new information they must first be able to adequately function in their environment. An interdisciplinary team works together to meet the needs of the individual to enable optimal communication, self-regulation, motor skills and learning within their daily environment.

Behavioral Consultant

Assessment, treatment and development of behavioral programs geared towards dealing with any challenging behavior that interferes with a individual ’s ability to function and to be optimally prepared to learn and take in new information. This may include persaverative behaviors, self injurious behavior, antisocial and disruptive behavior. The behavioral consultant also contributes to the programming regarding play, social skills, and feeding.

Occupational Therapist

Assessment, treatment, and development of programs in the areas of sensory processing skills and self regulation, gross and fine motor skills, and activities of daily living (play, feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting and sleep).

Speech-Language Pathologist

Assessment and development of programs to treat speech and language delays. This may include verbal and non-verbal receptive and expressive language as well as articulation disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist also contributes to programs regarding play, social skills and feeding.
